EssenceMediacom wins 20 Festival of Media Global Awards

EssenceMediaCom UK named Agency of the Year with two Golds and six Silvers.

EssenceMediaCom has picked up 20 trophies at the Festival of Media Global Awards at a ceremony in London, including Agency of the Year for its UK operation.

The wins included five Golds, 12 Silvers and three Bronze trophies with work for eBay picking up five separate awards between the UK and US teams.

The Twiggy Full Circle campaign for the online marketplace landed a Gold and two Silvers, while other campaigns for Met Gala Debut and eBay in Vogue added two additional prizes.

The UK team also picked up Golds for its work on Paddy Power and TUI as well as three Silvers for its work on Sky and an additional Silver for its global work on Sprite’s Heat Happens campaign. EssenceMediacomX was recognised for its work in powering donations to UN Women with a Silver award.

Two additional Golds came from India and the US, with the former winning for its Sprite Joke in a Bottle activation, which connected buyers with comedy via QR codes, and the latter for its work on Indeed and the Job Jukebox, which matched Spotify listening data with career search information.

The US team also picked up a Silver for Aspirin and a Bronze for Google Pixel, while China landed a slew of prizes with Silvers for Sprite, including the 1982 Sprite campaign, which picked up three separate medals.

EssenceMediacom had 58 campaigns nominated as best in class.
